Workshop on Supplychain - Yeh dil mange more!!!

Hie...
Well this is wrt to the workshop conducted by "Institute
of Supply Chain Management" - Mumbai on 13th & 14th July 2009. This workshop was on Forecasting , Inventory & Supply Chain Demand planning. This was conducted by Professor Vaidy Jayaraman (an Associate Professor of Operations and Supply Chain Management at the School of Business Administration, University of Miami) & by Dr. Rakesh P Singh (PhD in Supply Chain Management and a Gold Medalist in MA Economics (University of Mumbai) is the founder and Honorary Dean Institute of Supply Chain Management. Currently he is the Chair Professor of Economics Great Lakes Institute of Management Chennai)
Frankly speaking a day before the workshop I was very very scared since was not sure what's gonna happen. The reason i was scared was coz, i thought i was the only with least experience. The other participants had experience more than 10 to 15 yrs from various industries like AFL, Godrej Hershey, BPCL, Patel Logistics, Sical Industries, Aventis Pharma & more.
The structure of the class was awesome. The case studies done were extremely good. The material provide excellent (bahut zyada to read). The best part was The Beer Game & the Barilla case study & Asian paints case study. Also Dr. Singh & Prof. Vaidy Jayaraman are the best in the industry..I have never come across with such superb teaching & world class faculties..they were the best.
But still i feel i m hungry to learn more. Well i am sured ISCM will keep more such workshops....Coz YEH DIL MANGE MORE!!!
